Description
Experienced outfitter has whitetail hunts in the middle of South Dakota’s prime deer country. Premier whitetail habitat creates your trophy opportunity. 4 day, all-inclusive hunt package with family style meals and lodging. The rifle hunts are a 5 day hunt, 6 night stay. The season starts the 2nd Saturday in November and runs for 17 days straight. This hunt usually runs the same time as our rut so it is very likely to see 50 plus deer a day. Here in western South Dakota this outfitter has property that supports both whitetail and mule deer. During this hunt it is very likely that a hunter will see numerous whitetails in the 140s and above. The whitetail hunters will hunt in timber creeks and hardwood river bottoms. Outfitter will supply ladder stands, ground blinds, haystacks and more. In these areas the outfitter has both cover, food plots and alfalfa bottoms.

This location will satisfy the most discriminating guest. You lodge is set in a pristine location with a full bar, pool table, poker tables. The dinners are in a well appointed dinning area. The bunk house has a large receiving area and each bedroom has a full bath.

The food is prepared daily by a staff that takes camp meals to another level. Basic homestyle breakfasts. Meals may vary from baby back pork ribs, beef short ribs, pasta, and pork tenderloin. Soups and homemade sandwiches for lunch. Also produce from a local greenhouse.

Hunter will be required for some light hiking for this hunt. Ladder stands, and ground blinds will be utilized.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
All field transportation will be provided with a truck and ATV. Finally destination city for flying is Pierre, or Rapid City, South Dakota. Pierre airport is about 45 miles away from camp (roughly an 1 hour drive). Rapid city is 140 miles from camp (roughly a 2 and a half hour drive).

Description
You will have a mix of hunting approaches from stand hunting to spot and stalk. Western South Dakota is a vast open land scape with deep cotton wood draws. It makes for some of the best whitetail hunting in the country. A must try hunt. Hunter should be prepared for cooler mornings and evenings. South Dakota can be windy so layering systems are a must. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
